Nestled on the edge of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge is an intimate retreat of just 20 exclusive suites and part of the Luxury Safari Collection by Neptune Hotels. Each suite has a private terrace with views over the lush forest and the comfort of personalised butler service.

Thanks to its location right at the entrance to the park and the absence of nightly conservancy fees, the lodge offers a refined stay defined by authentic luxury, exceptional comfort and unique privileges.

Dining is farm-to-table: Acacia Dining serves à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner blending light Mediterranean flavours with local cuisine, using seasonal ingredients from the lodge's own vegetable garden and surrounding communities. There is an elegant indoor dining room and an outdoor terrace, plus the Zebra Bar & Lounge — a 1920s explorer-styled bar — and an exclusive Traditional Bush Restaurant at the Masai Boma for candlelit or group bush dinners under an open-sky bonfire.

The stay is premium all-inclusive: all meals, in-room coffee, tea and hot chocolate, afternoon tea at the pool or lounge, juices, soft drinks, selected wines and local beer, cocktails and selected spirits at the lounge bar from 11am to midnight, pool loungers and towels, and free Wi-Fi in the rooms and public areas.

Earth & Rain Spa offers massages, facial and body treatments and signature rituals in the heart of the bush, and the swimming pool looks out over the highlands. Private services include bush breakfasts, private bush dinners, romantic sundowners and sundowner cocktails, and the lodge arranges private game drives, bush walks and cultural encounters in the crater.

Getting here: the nearest airstrip is Lake Manyara (about 1.5 hours by road), with daily scheduled flights from Arusha; by road it is a scenic 3.5 to 4 hour drive from Arusha via Lake Manyara. Ngorongoro Conservation Area entry and crater service fees are paid at the gate and are not included in the lodge rate. Transfers can be arranged with the lodge.
